An assemnly of carpets made on commission. Parcelles is an architectural pattern laid out on four flights of stairs in someone’s house, with the intention to stay for years. Its shapes are re-interpretations of the architecture of favelas, often stretched out on the hillsides of big cities. It can be seen as a large map, giving way to abstraction, as part of a city seen from above. Forms appear and disappear, they evoke territories and stories, inviting residents and visitors to explore the space.
